Ep: 56 – Lions Preseason Kickoff 2016 – The Detroit Lions Podcast

Deandre Levy Detroit Lions

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case break down the latest and most important Detroit Lions news, including some great takes from Jeff Risdon who is joined by Mike Payton.

During ‘This Week In Reddit’, we talk about Eric Ebron and his injury, what it means, and what to make of it all.  We also lament the less publicized injury to one of the bright young stars on the team, TJ Jones.  The topic of Darius Slay and his performance against Antonio Brown on the first day of the Lions shared camp with the Steelers gets tossed around.  We get our first DLP fantasy football league report and also take a trip around the division with Case.

We bring back a segment that’s always been a fan favorite, “Counterpoint”, and have a great discussion about the Steelers with /u/tstscavo (Tyler) from the Pittsburgh Steelers subreddit.

As usual, we are joined by ‘The Riz’, Jeff Risdon from SideLionReport.com for his segment, “Risdon’s Wisdom”.  This time he is joined by another guest, Mike Payton who is down in Jeff’s old stomping grounds.  We break down the latest news and get some great takes from Jeff and Mike on the current state of the team, the injury situation, and who is on the bubble in this much anticipated segment.  Its Batman vs. Superman all over again…
