Ep: 100 – Lions Uniform Approach – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case break down the latest and most important Detroit Lions news, including what FootballOutsiders.com has to say about the Lions chances, a look at the huge reveal of the 4 new Lions uniforms’ design, and a check in on the life and times of Titus Young. Jeff ‘the Riz’ Risdon joins to give us more insight on what to think of the rumors and analysis we’ve seen and heard in regards to the Lions draft prospects.  We also announce the winners of March’s Black Rifle Coffee contest winners and bring on a new sponsor for the video game junkies in our audience (use the code ‘Football’ to get your discount).

Chris and Case walk through This Week In Reddit and discuss the major topics hitting the Lions and their fan community. They discuss the valiant effort to take down the Patriots in the r/nfl Survivor game and what the teams can do next year to beat the Evil League of Evil (including a story about a very rare foray into the world of memes for Case). Chris shares his thoughts on the shape of hat brims today, and we discuss praise for Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson from Josh Norman and Malcolm Jenkins, respectively. As usual, Case takes us “Around the Division” after the patented bass drop to tell you why the Bears, Vikings, and Packers all still suck.

Chris is the founder of everything you see here. A former radio presenter and Detroit native, he now resides in sunny California – and like so many of us, he found himself marooned on an island devoid of other Lions fans. After spending a few years in the Detroit Lions Reddit community he decided to start the Detroit Lions Podcast. Its become the #1 Detroit Lions podcast, and regularly ranks with the top podcasts in Detroit. With a mixture of pre-recorded shows, live & recorded phone-ins, and live post-game broadcasts – this is his slice of Honolulu Blue heaven.
