In this episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris is joined by former Detroit Lions Quarterback, Dan Orlovsky as Dan makes good on his promise to co-host the show! We talk everything Lions, and he brings his insider perspective on many important topics for the team both currently and for the future.

Dan does a great job on our “This Week In Reddit” segment providing insight and his thinking on a number of important topics. We talk about the Lions many comeback games and who is calling the plays in those situations – Dan’s insight is invaluable here as well – and we get Dan’s thinking on whether or not Matthew should and/or will be playing against the Green Bay Packers.

We also spend some time discussing ownership, the front office, and possible coaching replacements for the team. Dan really shines here as he talks about what a team should do when looking for a coach, and how they should approach the task. Lots of great information here for you to digest.

During the show, we get a surprise phone call from one of the biggest Lions fans in the world, Dean Blandino.  He talks about what inspired him to head up officiating in the NFL and shares a few juicy tidbits about possible officiating irregularities.

We also discuss the likelihood of the Green Bay Packers losing Aaron Rodgers as a result of their misstep. I won’t give away any surprises here.

In an interesting turn of events, Dan takes us, ‘Around the Division’ this week with his view of the division for Lions fans. We also had to check for seizures after the bass dropped…
