Ep: 140 – The Search Is On – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case are joined by longtime friend of the show, Jeff Risdon to talk about the most pressing Detroit Lions issues that are on fans’ minds today.

Now that the team has moved on from Jim Caldwell, we felt it necessary to begin the show by working through the week’s big coaching rumors. Who has been tied to the Lions, and how much to believe the rumors – and boy are the rumors swirling. The rumor mill has been working overtime, first we heard Bill Belichick was coming to town, then it was Matt Patricia, then Patricia was gone, and shortly after that, he was back again.  We go over each of those coaches and their strengths and weaknesses.  Riz also makes the case for Mike Vrabel and we take a look outside of the coaches that most are speculating about and pull in a few more names/possibilities.

With all that head coach hype, we would be remiss if we didn’t share our hype audio segment and the great “Need a Coach” commercial tweeted out by @Wrath_of_John. Let us know what you think.

We officially mark the beginning of draft season with some discussion about the Shrine Game as well as plans for Chris and the Riz to cover the game live, and record next week’s podcast together in-studio.

Case does his thing and takes us around the division with our old school bass drop.
