Ep: 103 – Tori Petry On Tap – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case kick off with ‘This Week in Reddit‘ and get into some way-to-early 2018 free agency talk. Included in that are the, once again relevant, rumors that Ziggy Ansah is a couple years older than we were told he is, as well as the possibility of extending Glover Quin. The RB situation gets a little dusting off (and Case gets a little excited about his favorite guy), as well as Ebron in regards to his long term ability to stay healthy. Finally, we cover the age old question of whether or not Calvin Johnson will make the Hall Of Fame.

The Detroit Lions Podcast is extremely happy to welcome Tori Petry back to the show, and boy does she deliver! She shares some inside input on how the Lions feel about their draft picks and what they expect out of them in the years to come. We also announce that she is going to join us on the show monthly going forward, which will add another fantastic element and perspective to the show.  Look for ‘Tori Petry On Tap’ again next month!

We catch up, as usual, with the Riz, to get his take on what’s on the Lions burner. He gives us a little preview of what to expect when he gets back from the Rookie Mini-camp coming up, reasons to love Nate Burleson and his media presence growth (as well as how the Detroit Lions Podcast has propelled The Riz to massive fame), and why Nevin Lawson is someone we should be expecting to see in the long term plans for the Lions.
