Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press Gives a wonderful synopsis of what it feels like to have your soul ripped out of your body and shoved in to a blender. By that I mean he recaps the game that occurred on October 29, 2017. The one where the Lions could not score a touchdown in multiple tries from within the five yard line on multiple occasions. That one.

Shawn Windsor of the Detroit Free Press gives a recap of the game that occurred on October 29, 2017. The One where the Lions could not score a touchdown in multiple tries from within the five yard line on multiple occasions. That one. By that I mean he gives a wonderful synopsis of what it feels like to have your soul ripped out of your body and shoved in to a blender.

Kyle Meinke of Mlive.com has a few observations about the Sunday Night Football massacre that occurred in Detroit a mere two nights before Halloween. Jim Caldwell dressed up like a riverboat gambler and went for it on fourth down rather than take easy points in the second half. This was possibly the worst Lions coaching decision since Marty Mornhinweg gave the other team the ball in sudden death overtime. Caldwell decided not to take the lead. That is always a mistake.

Justin Rogers of the Detroit News also recapped the game.  I mean if you really want to relive the torture yet another time, from the pen of yet another of Detroit’s dedicated cabal of beat writers. The Lions let a free agent go who was responsible for one third of their receiving touchdowns in 2016. They replaced that production with a third round rookie. The Lions inability to convert in the red zone was entirely predictable, That has nothing to do with Mr Rogers article. I just needed to vent.
