Ep: 94 – Lions Offseason Housekeeping – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case are joined by Jeff Risdon to break down the latest and most important Detroit Lions news, discuss stadium improvements and expand on the recent announcement about the new podcast.

During ‘This Week In Reddit’, the Detroit Lions Podcast guys chat about Dan Orlovsky’s departure and what it means for the backup position – hint, if Matthew Stafford goes down, the Lions are done whether Dan stays or goes. We realize that Stanley Wilson is an active listener to the show, and Jim Bob Cooter is a listener with a time machine. We talk about some of the love that Darius Slay is getting, what are some of our best options at cornerback,  and take a quick look at the top 3 positions of need for the team in this offseason.  We also discuss Ameer Abdullah‘s injury, and some of the big stadium improvements. Case also takes us for a trip ‘Around the Division’ (with the high dollar intro) and brings us up to date on the latest breaking NFC North news.

This week, Chris and the Riz talk about their new (upcoming) podcast and have a big add-on to the announcement.  There was something we didn’t tell you originally, sorry to have been so coy with our beloved listeners, but we needed to get a few things buttoned up before we were ready to announce.  The full, public announcement will go out on Thursday, but we wanted to let the Detroit Lions Podcast listeners know first.
