Detroit Is Looking Healthier For Week Two’s Matchup Against New York.
Last week, the Lions had three players who were limited in practice, Zach Zenner, Kenny Golladay, and Ziggy Ansah. Zenner would practice fully after a limited day, but Ansah and Golladay would be limited all week but ended up playing week one. Onto week two, Detroit isn’t as banged up. Golden Tate was limited on Thursday in practice with his finger, but he practiced in full on Friday and Saturday, and with the finger splint off, Tate will be ready to go on Sunday. Let’s check out the latest week two injuries.
Ziggy Ansah Limited Again, Will Play
No shocker here, Ansah was limited again in practice with his knee injury. Ansah played last week and only had one tackle, not much pressure from the defensive end. He will be limited for a while, possibly all season, depending on how long this knee injury takes to recover, but for now, expect him with a limited snap count.
New York Giants Injury Report
The biggest storyline for the week two injuries is on wide receiver O’Dell Beckham Jr for the New York Giants. He has been doing limited practices all week and is questionable for Monday’s game with many indicating he will play, we shall see on Monday night if he suits up.
Offensive tackle Bobby Hart and linebacker Keenan Robinson didn’t practice on Thursday but returned in limited fashion on Friday, so both of those guys seem like they could be ready to go.
Defensive tackle Jay Bromley, cornerback Janoris Jenkins, and wide receiver Tavarres King all practiced fully this week, as they will be active and ready to play on Monday.
