Ep: 124 – Lions & Saints Postgame – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this live episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case are joined by everyone’s favorite slowlight maker, and the king of the highlights, Sandman! We breakdown a tough loss against the Saints as the team heads into the bye week.

What an amazing game this week. So many crazy things that it’s hard to even know where to begin. From 13 batted Matthews Stafford passes, to each team getting a pick 6 at the goal line, to Eric Ebron actually making a catch – and that was after the ball was batted up into the air – all the way through to an amazing Marvin Jones one-handed catch, a near-comeback, and a score that destroyed the ‘Over’ in Vegas as the teams combined to put up a total of 90 points this week.

The body count in this game was horrific, so many injuries including one that just sucked the life out of his teammates and fans alike, Glover Quin. We also saw the offensive line so injured and dismantled that we almost had a tight end playing as a right tackle. We were basically out of bodies.

As usual, we took a number of calls this week and, as usual, listeners brought it with a number of great points and fun conversation.
