In this episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case are joined for the entirety of the show by Jeff Risdon and we do a dive on recent Lions coaching hires and talk about the draft including what we’ve learned from the Senior Bowl. So here we are waiting for what seems to be absolutely inevitable. While Matt Patricia spends his Super Bowl media time playing coy about anything beyond his time with the New England Patriots upcoming game in the Super Bowl, we all swoon and make goo-goo eyes at the guy who will become the new coach of the Detroit Lions. There is nothing like an extended engagement ahead of your marriage to fall so deeply in love that…. Oh, sorry, might have been hit by cupid. *Ahem*

We break down the recent hires and movement amongst the Lions assistant coaching staff on both sides of the ball. Jeff Risdon weighs in with some personal knowledge about a few of the guys, and celebrates the departure of one in particular.

From there we put Risdon on the grill and start looking at a couple of key positions that likely sit on the Lions draft board. We talk about early and mid-round favorites at both positions and who you should keep your eyes on.  The Riz also brings us the important information from the Senior Bowl that means the most to Lions fans.
