In this live episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris is joined by Ash Thompson to discuss the Lions incredible home opener against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Lions were projected to lose this one, instead the Lions stood tall. There were far too many penalties from both teams with the Lions leading to spending the majority of the second half playing from behind. True to former form, the team was able to stage an amazing comeback. There is a lot to unpack from this performance, and we’re here to help you put things in perspective.

Detroit Lions Podcast Happy With A Win

First and foremost, the Lions are in a position that very few predicted – undefeated after two games. The team is in second place, a half of a game out of first in the NFC North. This is one of those games where many Lions fans come out frustrated. We don’t agree, there is a lot to be happy with here.  There are a few that don’t deserve celebration too, and one of them may not  be on the team next week. The Detroit Lions Podcast spends a good deal of time breaking this down and discussing what Lions fans should take away from this game.
