In this live episode, Brandon the Intern joins Chris and Case to take part in our celebration of the big win against the Philadelphia Eagles at Ford Field. The Lions were hungry and the fans weren’t disappointed in the outcome, but the guys spend some time talking about areas where the team still didn’t quite get up to song. We get a great breakdown from, ‘The Riz’ – Jeff Risdon, on today’s game as well as updates on what to look for as the season continues forward. No one, including ‘The Riz’ is very high on this coaching staff, but we found ways to compliment their efforts today with the Riz going as far as saying Caldwell coached the game of his career. In addition, we take live calls from our listeners, who have a lot to say about this team, where its taken them, and where they think its going.
After we spend time being somewhat critical of the win, we talk about how the refs were still inconsistent (albeit inconsistent in our favor) and important changes that need to be made. We still just want consistency and have a good chat about the quality of officiating over time. Of course we take live calls and they join us to bring their excitement, observations, and their criticism as well. We had some really great calls this week, thank you to everyone who took the time to join us!
