Ep: 86 – Lions & Giants Postgame Show – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this live episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris & Case are joined by Jeff Risdon, Mike the Ambling Bastard, and Brandon the Temp to put together a great Lions postgame show after the tough loss against a team on the rise in the New York Giants (from New Jersey).  The Lions couldn’t pull out one of their patented come from behind wins against the Giants and continued to look like a team that prefers to play up or down to their opponent’s level.  Stafford‘s finger didn’t appear to be an issue, Theo Riddick didn’t play, and Zach Zenner coughed up a ball in the Giants’ endzone on a play that could have turned the game in an entirely different direction (in the Lions favor).  DeAndre Levy returned to the field and played a solid game in his second game back and seemed to be getting back into form.  We learned that he had a torn meniscus in his knee today and that this was the injury preventing his return.  In the end, the Lions loss prevents them from sealing the deal as the division champs, and the Bears losing to the Packers today didn’t give them any help.  Looks like we’re looking at a late-season, backs to the wall division clincher against those damn Packers.  The playoff picture continues to clarify itself, but for the Lions, winning is the key.  A hearty thank you to everyone who took the time to join us on the live post game version of the Detroit Lions Podcast!
