Ep: 91 – Lions At The Shrine – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case break down the latest and most important Detroit Lions news, have an in-depth discussion about coaching on the team, and get the latest from Jeff Risdon who is in St. Petersburg for Shrine week.

During ‘This Week In Reddit’, the Detroit Lions Podcast guys talk about Kyle Van Noy and some of the recent press he’s received.  Chris makes it clear that Van Noy has an amazingly hot wife and the guys step up to defend him against some of the not so nice things that have been said about him.  We dive in on Riley Reiff, what it might take to keep him, and whether the Lions will want to/be able to.  We also go in-depth to discuss Running Backs and the need for a run game in Detroit and dive deep on Teryl Austin and what might be happening with him.  Now back in the swing of things, Case and takes us for a trip ‘Around the Division’ (with the high dollar intro) and brings us up to date on the latest breaking NFC North news.

This week, ‘The Riz’ (Jeff Risdon), is coming to us from St. Petersburg, Florida where he is set up for the Shrine game. Guys with names like Quinn, Xanders, and O’Brien are there and the Riz spent time with them and shares with us what they were looking at. We also speak about the Lions defensive front 7 and discuss some of the team’s woes there as well as what it might take to shore things up.
