[430] Lions Recalibrate The Defense – Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Jeff return with the latest news and conversation about the Detroit Lions. Its a strange universe we’re living in as Lions fans right now. With the team’s record being 1-3 and staring at the coach they fired for their last game prior to the bye week, its hard to know what to think, or what to expect this week. We’ve got you covered and will help you make sense of it all.

Detroit Lions Podcast Makes Sense Of It All

Detroit Lions fans must feel like they are taking crazy pills these days. When the offense is on the field, their team scores more points than any team in the NFL. When the defense takes the field though… They allow more points than any team in the NFL. Detroit Lions fans, coaches, and players are all frustrated with the dichotomy they are facing, and Coach Dan Campbell has vowed to make changes to clean things up on defense starting this week. Will it work? We might have a few suggestion for him along the way… After we show the way for coaches Dan Campbell and Aaron Glenn to fix the defense, we’ll talk about fan expectations. What to look for, what to expect, and to think back about where we thought this team was at the beginning of the year. At that point 6 wins was pretty much the agreed-upon number. Knowing these players and this coaching staff, there’s going to be a surge coming from this Detroit Lions team real soon. We’ll also talk about the return of Jerry Jacobs, Josh Paschal, and facing off against the man who touched Sandman right in his fandom, Matt Patricia. Buckle up, it’s going to be a big show!

Speaking of “buckle up”, make sure to head over to our project with Detroit Lions shutdown cornerback Jerry Jacobs to help charities in Detroit. Its a great opportunity to get some great gear and make a difference in the city we all love.
