[445] Detroit Lions Knives Are Sharp – Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Jeff are back like a pair of NFC wins to talk about another Lions victory week! As we know, the Detroit Lions notched a second win in a row by topping the New York Giants on Sunday to place them in second place in the NFC North. The Lions are now looking ahead to their annual Thanksgiving tradition in which they will play the Buffalo Bills this year.

Detroit Lions Podcast Thanksgiving Recipe For Lions Success

There’s a lot going on this week for the Detroit Lions, first and most importantly, they are coming off of their first 3-win streak since 2017. The ship appears as though its making the turn that fans wanted to show progress in the team’s rebuild. Heading into the traditional Thanksgiving game, the team is bracing to face a strong opponent in a game that they have traditionally had a difficult time winning. The Lions current record on Thanksgiving is 37-43-2 and they will be playing one of their most difficult opponents of the year in the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo had their “get right” game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday after losing two games in a row. While injured, the Buffalo Bills Josh Allen looks as strong as ever and has seemingly unlimited options with the Bills offensive weapons arsenal.

The Detroit Lions are going to face their second week up top-tier defensive line play in the Buffalo Bills defensive front. One of the Lions best offensive options will be to test the Buffalo Bills cornerbacks, The Lions are going to need to find a way to overpower the Bills defensive line with their run game in a similar way that they did the New York Giants. This is not a game the Lions are expected to win, but they certainly have the ability to top the Buffalo Bills if they pull everything together. Our favorite cornerback Jerry Jacobs play against Stefon Diggs is going to be key to the Lions victory with Jeff Okudah being out. Its going to be a great game, and its going to be an awesome show, so buckle up!

Speaking of “buckle up”, make sure to head over to our project with Detroit Lions shutdown cornerback Jerry Jacobs to help charities in Detroit. Its a great opportunity to get some great gear and make a difference in the city we all love.
