Ep: 59 – Then There Were 75 – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case break down the latest and most important Detroit Lions news, talk about the Bills with @burningrob, and have a great conversation with Erik Schlitt who is standing in for the Riz this week.

During ‘This Week In Reddit’, we talk about the no huddle offense and what it means for the Lions, how preseason wins and losses matter much less for this organization, and the (very thin) situation at Tight End.  Of course Nathan Cheatham provides our Fantasy Football Update, and Case takes us for a trip ‘Around the Division’ including a conversation with Sandman about the Teddy Bridgewater news.  Last but not least, Sandman talks about his latest hype video and teases an upcoming project with the show.

We dive into a fun segment that’s always been a fan favorite, “Counterpoint”, and have a great discussion about the Bills with Bills subreddit member Rob.  He talks about the team, its growth and areas that may prove challenging.  He also manages to bring up OJ without making us cringe too hard!

This week, ‘The Riz’, needed a preseason vacation, so we found a highly competent replacement in Erik Schlitt from DetroitJockCity.com.  Erik is a great young writer who is making a heck of name for himself in Detroit sports reporting – definitely one to watch out for.  He gives a great breakdown about the team, its current state, and management’s state of mind.
