Ep: 68 – Lions Look Ahead To The Eagles – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case break down the latest and most important Detroit Lions news, reveal the winner of the Detroit Lions Hat in our podcast review contest, lament the Bears game, talk about the Eagles with /u/qp0n, and talk about the team’s performance, the state of the coaching staff, and recent signings when we speak with the Riz this week.

During ‘This Week In Reddit’, we take a look at a Bears game which can only be called a ‘gut punch’, talk about Jim Caldwell and his (hopefully) soon-to-end tenure with the team, and discuss the ebb and flow associated with being a Lions fan.  We announce the winner of our podcast review contest and also break down what to look for in the game against the Eagles. Of course Nathan Cheatham provides our Fantasy Football Update, and Case takes us for a trip ‘Around the Division’ to bring us up to date on the latest breaking NFC North news. Yes, we also talk about Ebron.

We dive into a fun segment that’s always been a fan favorite, “Counterpoint”, and have a great discussion about the Philadelphia Eagles with a highly esteemed member of the Eagles subreddit  /u/qp0n.  He does a good job breaking down the match-up from their side of the field.

This week, ‘The Riz’, joins us for an in-depth analysis of the Lions coaching staff, how long they might have, and what the heck is going on.  We also talk about injuries and recent Lions roster signings.  He also spends some time talking about the upcoming match-up against the Eagles.
