Ep: 125 – Lions Look To The Steelers – The Detroit Lions Podcast

In this episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case are joined by Jeff ‘The Riz’ Risdon to discuss the latest Detroit Lions news and views.

First off, we have to apologize to our listeners for being late with this episode, Chris had some last minute travel, and while he brought all of the equipment to record, he was missing some key files required to publish the show.  Worry not, friends, we are now back on schedule and ready to rock for the rest of the season.

Good news, The Riz, joins us for the entirety of ‘This Week In Reddit’ as we go over the most important Lions news of the last two weeks. First we go over many of the roster changes that have happened as Bob Quinn plays ‘Moneyball’ with the bottom of the depth chart. Also, ‘The Riz’ gets a little worked up about the team re-signing Brad Kayaa and we have to talk him down a bit.

One of the big topics of discussion these days is about the Lions ability to win the NFC North after the recent injury to Aaron Rogers. Case looks at the schedules and makes predictions about where things could end up – he does a pretty solid job of it too. We also have a long conversation about Eric Ebron, his role, his future, what we ought to be thinking about him and whether or not trade talk makes any sense. We break down the injury report (check it!) and look ahead to the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and what it might bring right before Case takes us ‘Around the Division’.
